Youth and leaders from Ishøj Ungdom will travel to Nykøbing Mors from August 21st to 24th to participate in the Ung Kult Festival and organize the Theme Dayz Music Production Project. The project will create a creative and inspiring environment where young people can explore music, media, and cultural production while engaging with one of Denmark’s largest youth and culture festivals.

Theme Dayz will feature two main production areas: Music production and video production. The first station will be as a walk-around happening on the festival site. Young artists, producers and musicians will gather information and text from audience members, which they will re-write in to song lyrics, for the production of a Ung Kult jingle. The song will be produced on friday in Huset i Skovgade, and will be featuring every young person who wants to participate in the creation of it.

The second production station will focus on video and media production throughout the entire festival. From the opening day until the final event, youth participants and leaders will capture photos, interviews, live performances, behind-the-scenes moments, and cultural activities taking place across the festival grounds. The media team will document the spirit of the festival while creating professional video clips, social media content, documentaries, and possibly a full music video connected to productions created during the event.
